    The Mechanical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan offers a varied range of training courses for its members. Our goal is to offer members a selection of courses that will meet a variety of training needs throughout the year.

    Note: Unless specified otherwise on the registration form MCAS cancellation policy states that if you are not able to attend, you may send someone else in your place. If you need to cancel, please send written notification to MCAS at least seven business days prior to the course start date for a full refund

  • Continuous Training Certified

     

    MCAS Continuous Training Certified logo

    The Continuous Training Certified program was created specifically with members in mind, to showcase and celebrate members who are dedicated to continuous training within the Mechanical Contracting industry.

    Criteria

    • Must be an MCAS Member.
    • Obtain 1 credit for each 4 employees.
    • A minimum of 1 in every 4 courses must be an MCAS course.
    • Documentation must be provided to qualify.

    Credits

    • 1 credit equals 1 full day of training or 2 half days of training.
    • Training taken during the calendar year qualifies for that calendar year.

    Courses

    In addition to MCAS training courses, we also accept:

    • Supervisory and management training
    • Gold Seal courses
    • Safety training
    • Other technical and industry courses

    Apprenticeship courses and courses required for accreditation for specific trades do not count toward the Continuous Training Certified program.

    Enrollment

    Submit an enrollment form to the MCAS office to request entry into the program.

    After each course is completed, submit the Course Submission Form with required documentation (i.e., certificate of completion, attendance records, or other documentation).

    Benefits

    • Framed Certificate for display in your office
    • Decals to display on your company vehicles.
    • Year stickers (2025) will be sent to update the decal.
    • Use of Continuous Training Certified logo on your website and other documentation.
    • Industry and customer recognition as a leader in Continuous Training.

    About MCAS Courses and Training

    Training is held at the SaskEnergy/MCAS Joint Training Centre located at 1301 Quebec Avenue in Saskatoon unless otherwise stated.

    The Technical Training Center

    The Technical Training Center was developed in partnership with SaskEnergy and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan. This provincial natural gas trades training centre was designed to provide a facility for technical training to both SaskEnergy and the Mechanical Contractors Industry.

    This facility is available for rent to our members interested in hosting their own training. Call the office at (306) 664-2154 or e-mail admin@mca-sask.ca for details.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once registered, if you are not available to attend, you may send someone else in your place. If you need to cancel all together, please send written notification to MCAS at least seven business days prior to the course start date for a full refund.
